Before this project, i had never worked with linoleum. I learned how manipulate the linoleum into a stamp by cutting out the pieces i wanted to remain white, or whatever color i previously used. basically, everything we did this week was new information that i learned.
Did you gain skill with familiar materials?
I had known about linoleum from previous art classes, but i had never worked with it. Now i feel comfortable with working with it and might use it again in the future.

I had never tried printmaking before so i was a little unsure. Printmaking is what i would describe as an "oops oh well" project. Nothing it guaranteed. Every print is going to look different because there is a lot of room for error. You could completely miss aline something and theres nothing you can do about it. Although i was wear, i feel that i produced a trippy piece i am proud of.
Did you pick a material or technique that was new or different over something that was familiar?
We didn't exactly get to pick the material or technique we could use, but i did work with a new material.
